Jason Gray – With Every Act Of Love

The Song was inspired by N.T. Write’s book “Surprised By Hope,” where he talks about how we’ve absorbed this idea over the years that this world is not my home, I’m just passing through. It’s a theology of evacuation and abandonment: “I’m getting out of here, I’m leaving all this behind, these things don’t matter.” The gospel is clearly a theology of deeper engagement and restoration and redemption. It reminds us that everything matters, if anything matters at all. The kingdom is coming and we are invited to play a part in that kingdom coming right now, right here with every act of love we do. – Jason Gray
