We just need to come to Him whether we think we are ready or not. We can never change ourselves by our own efforts, we need God to help us come out of our sinful ways. If we think that we will first try and cleanse our ways ourselves or wait for us to grow old and then come to Him, we are absolutely in the wrong direction. God died for our sins and rose victoriously proving to us that there is an eternal life for us, much better than what we would expect in this world. He has done more than enough for us, now it is up to us to go to Him.
